This is the first year we are releasing wines in a series that will become a regular part of Waylan Wine co. Every single wine that will be released is a small glimpse into why we started making wine in the first place. They are the wines we will smile about and the first thing we will pull out when you ask us what we are excited about. These are what we will stock deep in our own homes to rip corks on regularly.

Think of these wines like the chef at your favorite restaurant letting you try a dish they are working on developing. Its not on the permanent menu yet and it may never be. Similar to an author mailing you a draft just before they sent it off to their publisher.

There is going to be a wide variety of wines bottled under this label. We will use grapes we have never used, techniques not yet tried, vineyards never worked with before, blends not yet made, wines bottled solo that havent been before (this one). There is only 1 rule to these wines: The quality will match everything else we have ever made. Experiment/first attempt is no excuse for anything subpar. We would rather dump it down the drain.
